I'm Will. I grew up watching cartoons from the 70s, 80s, and 90s like some people need to breathe air. The 1994 Spider-Man animated series was a particular favorite, and that eventually pulled me into the comics themselves. I started by sneaking peeks at my dad's Jim Lee Hush singles (which he unfortunately sold off later), worked through plenty of the greats like Sandman in Absolute format and Watchmen, and am currently making my way through Fear Agent. Like a parent who can't pick a favorite child, I can't pick a favorite publisher; I just have ones I lean toward harder than others at times :).
I'm a full-time developer at my day job, and I've always wanted a modern-looking site to track my reading orders and keep up with my wish lists. So in late 2025, ComicArc was born. I'm updating characters and reading orders as I go, with my personal opinions and hot takes baked in.
As a father, it's also my goal to help other parents research characters more easily and find age-appropriate content for their kid's new favorite superhero or villain (I don't judge). I'll do my best to show you great jumping-on points and ways to grow your merch collection. I have a problem with my collection size, and I hope you'll join me.
