Russell Heath, Jr. was an American artist best known for his comic book work, particularly his DC Comics war stories and his 1960's art for Playboy magazine's "Little Annie Fanny" feature. He has also produced commercial art, two pieces of which, depicting Roman and Revolutionary War battle scenes for toy soldier sets, became familiar pieces of Americana after gracing the back covers of countless comic books from the early 1960's to early 1970's. Heath's drawings of fighter jets in DC Comics' All-American Men of War #89 (Feb. 1962) served as the basis for pop artist Roy Lichtenstein's best-known oil paintings. Heath was inducted into the Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame in 2009.
Russell Dauterman is an illustrator and character designer, best known as the artist of Marvel's comic book series The Mighty Thor. Russell's lengthy run on Thor, written by Jason Aaron and starring Jane Foster as Thor, debuted at #1 on The New York Times Bestseller List for graphic novels. The book was nominated for Best Continuing Series at the 2017 Eisner Awards. Russell began his career in comics as the artist of the BOOM! Studios series, Supurbia. He went on to draw Nightwing at DC and Cyclops for Marvel. Since then, Russell has drawn covers, illustrated interiors, and designed characters for various comic book titles and publishers. In 2018, Marvel named Russell a Young Gun, one of the industry's top artists to watch. Before his career in comics, Russell illustrated children’s books and worked in the film industry as an illustrator for costume designers, including work on the film Captain America: The First Avenger. A graduate of Boston College, Russell continued to study illustration, character design, and costume history at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he holds a Master of Fine Arts Degree.
Ryan Ottley is best known for his work on Invincible written by Robert Kirkman and published by Image comics. Ottley was discovered by Kirkman on the Penciljack.com forums in late 2003 and offered him the job of illustrating Invincible starting with Issue 8. Ottley worked 14 years on the series as the artist for 127 issues of the 144 Issue run.
